To those meeting me for the first time, hello. To those who've been here before, thank you. This work began as a web novel, but without the support of my readers, it would never have reached this point.

This work is an adaptation of my novel My Childhood Friend is a Corrupted Saintess!, originally posted on the R18 novel submission site Nocturne Novels. It received the Grand Prize in the 2nd Osiris Bunko Next-Generation Erotic Novel Award, leading to its publication as an e-book with new writing and revisions.

Volume 1 covers the very, very beginning of the story, ending just as the character introductions wrap up. In truth, there's one heroine who hasn't appeared yet, but she'll show up in future volumes.

As some of you may have already guessed, the "Corrupted Saintess" Almaeira from the title doesn't have any H-scenes until much later in the story. Looking back, I can't help but think, "What an inconsiderate thing to do in this day and age…"

For that very reason, I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my editor, who poured tremendous effort into this work, and to the illustrator, Bokan-sama, who brilliantly brought my fragmented descriptions to life.

And to all the readers who've made it this far, my endless thanks. I hope you'll join me for the next volume as well.

To those thinking "I couldn't get off to this," I'm sorry.
