Prologue

My name is Touya Kougou. Thanks to a strange twist of fate, I ran into Kyui, the self-proclaimed Guide of Heroes, and now I'm just an ordinary guy enjoying his freedom by bouncing back and forth between Japan and another world.

Getting to do a little naughty stuff with gorgeous ladies in a fantasy world? What could possibly be better!? … Or so I was thinking, treating the other world like my own personal vacation spot.

Except it turned out that country was smack in the middle of a civil war, and I got dragged right into the thick of it!

That's when I met this super busty onee-san, and then I had a reunion with Elinabelle too. Since I'd hit it and quit it the last time, things got pretty awkward…!

Still, one thing led to another and I ended up lending a hand in the fighting, which landed me an invitation back to Elinabelle's estate. We did what we had to do and communicated in our own special way, and then wouldn't you know it… Elinabelle herself scouted me to become her retainer!

I came clean to Elinabelle about being from another world, and then under a few conditions, I agreed to work as her retainer. Who'd have thought I'd find a job in another world before I found one back in Japan…

Having secured the backing of a proper noble, it got a whole lot easier to move around in the other world, so for the moment I headed back to Japan. As usual, I needed some cash, so I put the magical stones I'd brought home from the other world up for sale online.

The buyer turned out to be the exact same person as last time, and they sent me a message saying they wanted to meet up and talk face-to-face. It was a pain, but the offer price was way above market, so I headed out to some shady abandoned building to meet my buyer.

And for some reason, when I got there, I found a samurai girl fighting a huge hulk of a man…!

According to Kyui, the guy wasn't human. His true form was an "oni."

Huh…!? Th-there's fantasy creatures like that in Japan too…!?

Mr. Oni had his sights set on me, so I had no choice but to fight! He even transformed on me right off the bat and had me panicking, but I fended him off with the strongest vibrator (a holy sword?). Once things calmed down, the buyer of my magical stones, Minato Kokuryouin, filled me in on oni and the organization she belonged to.

Turns out Minato-chan is a member of an organization called the "Tenyoushuu" that's been fighting oni since ancient times. Since I'd managed to drive off an oni as a regular civilian, Minato-chan decided to scout me too.

Apparently, on the surface they run a company called "Tenyou Development" that has deep ties with the government, and I'd be put on the books as an employee there.

I wasn't exactly champing at the bit to do honest work in Japan, so I dragged my feet on answering, but the second they threw out a yearly salary figure, next thing I knew my head was bowing all on its own.

And just like that, I'd landed jobs in Japan as well as in another world. The work itself is pretty out-there, and since it looked like I could still head off on my other-world trips, I took it… but yeah, I'm still not planning to work forever…

That said, a job's a job. When I went and told my part-time gig I was quitting, I ended up going out for drinks with my junior Kurumi.

We missed the last train, so I had no choice but to invite her back to my place to keep drinking. I ended up spending the night with Kurumi, and right as I was waking up all satisfied, for whatever reason Minato walked into my apartment…!

Her eyes landed straight on a naked guy and girl on the bed. Yeah… from now on, I'll be making damn sure the door's locked.

Minato left, and Kurumi hurried out too. There's still some time before I officially start work, so… how should I spend it, I wonder?
