The Second Divine Bedding

I guided the Succubi, including Leona, to the dungeon using a side path.

So I had them enter through the back door I made for this purpose.

"Just to be safe, let me check things out first."

"Of course. Go ahead."

Suira herself checked whether the housing was properly in place, then returned to the back door to report that there were no problems.

It would be troublesome if the sleeping quarters weren't properly set up, after all.

… Ah, or rather, was she worried that I might be deceiving them and go "actually, we'll kill you after all"? That makes sense. Of course they'd be cautious given how little trust there is between us.

And so this time I properly guided the Succubi including Leona into the dungeon.

Michiru, who wasn't there before, was also with them. She was nervously clinging to the corner of Leona's clothes.

The other Succubi's clothes are practically just strings, so maybe Leona's was the only one she could grab onto?

While the Succubi were wary of traps, Leona walked at the front without a care.

… She had such an air about her that any trap would break just from her stepping on it.

By the way, there are traps, but they're security measures that only activate if someone without authorization sneaks in… Could I have killed Leona by taking out the Succubi along with her? No, if Leona has some kind of teleportation skill to escape with, who knows.

"There weren't any particular traps. There were a few rooms along the way though."

"Tch, boring."

Why does she look disappointed… Wait, is that actually a display of confidence that she could handle any trap that came her way? This isn't a situation where I can make a move yet.

Then we emerged into the Meadow Area. Everyone except Suira, who had already seen them, was surprised at the sight of twelve container houses lined up.

Leona turned toward me with a smile.

"Thank you so much for preparing such fine housing for us, Golem-san."

"Yeah, sure. Let me know if you need anything. Though I can't guarantee I can provide it."

Leona's daily DP is still fluctuating wildly. Right now it's 2,480, but it was 0 just a moment ago. What the heck, it changes so much that it's impossible to get any kind of reading.

Also, there's also the possibility she's dungeon-related… She seems to be an acquaintance of Haku-san's… though Haku-san did tell me not to talk about dungeon matters with her…

"To receive something this wonderful, ahhh, how lovely. I can bring people back here all I want!"

"Since this is a dungeon, adventurers might come by… well, you can do whatever you want with them. Just don't kill them. Let them leave alive."

"May I strip them of everything they have?"

"… Don't overdo it okay? At the very least, spare their underwear."

"I don't know in what sense you mean 'delicious,' but in that case, at least leave them their jacket. If you leave them unconscious somewhere around here, I'll have Golems carry them out in front of the dungeon."

Leona replied obediently. The other Succubi seemed to agree as well.

"I'll leave some regular food here since not many people will be coming by."

"How thoughtful… But still, there's even a toilet and a bath? Aren't you up to something?"

"Nothing in particular for now. If I'm planning anything, it's figuring out how to make use of you Succubi going forward."

"Oh my, no plan at all? No wonder even my eyes couldn't see through it."

… Yeah, for now I'll try to contact Setsuna somehow from the dungeon side and leak information about Leona's whereabouts. That's about all I'm planning.

"Yes, I'm thinking of giving them the Succubus treasure, the [Divine Bedding]."

It's still fresh in my memory how Rokuko received the [Divine Bedding] series' [Divine Comforter] from Father after our previous Dungeon Battle. It's Rokuko-exclusive, so Rokuko is the one using it.

I've also slept beside Rokuko under it once, and it truly was a wonderful sleeping experience.

"Ah, Golem-san. The [Divine Bedding] is said to be bedding that, if you collect the entire set, will grant you such supreme sleep that you'll reach the level of a god."

Divine-level supreme sleep… that really is attractive.

This might be a good opportunity to start collecting them. So if I can get one, I definitely want it.

However, the Succubi stopped Leona.

"Please wait, Leona-sama! The Divine Bedding is a Succubus treasure. It's such a powerful item that it requires strict management!"

"That's right, Leona-sama! It's an item we entrust to you precisely because you're Leona-sama! We can't approve of giving it to Golem-san, whom we just met yesterday!"

"Now, now… Golems don't need sleep, so wouldn't it actually be safer to have Golem-san manage it? Besides, wouldn't it be more 'fitting' to have it stored deep within a dungeon?"
