Thinking about what Leona would dislike… would be destroying that summoning room enough? I'd prefer doing something even more annoying.

"By the way, Kehma. Why did you use a bed for my recovery?"

"Huh? Well, don't you think of a bed when you think of recovery? Or maybe a blanket…"

"Why not use the alarm clock? Wouldn't that have been a one-shot solution?"

… Oh yeah, that was an option too… That sweet scent definitely had an effect on disrupting thoughts, after all.

"So, you really wanted to sleep together with me, huh? Ehehe…"

"I just completely forgot about it."

"… So you don't want to sleep together with me?"

"Well, um, that's…"

Seeing me unable to say anything, Rokuko grinned happily.

But I did completely forget about the [Divine Alarm Clock]… oh yeah!

"More importantly, Rokuko. Thanks to you, I came up with a great way to annoy her."

"Oh, what is it? I'm looking forward to it since it's an annoyance Kehma came up with, it must be pretty bad!"

And so I decided to begin my Leona harrassment plan.

The [Divine Alarm Clock]'s function was not to be an incredibly accurate clock. It held the power of [Dispelling]. It was a clock that rang an alarm that could forcibly restores a person's mental state to normal.

Its appearance, time display, and sound could be freely changed.

"Now, if I set the sound of this to [A volume loud enough to cover the entire country], what do you think will happen?"

"The moment it rings, our ears might be blown out?"

"… Ah, maybe I can add something like [inaudible to human ears and harmless]…? Ooh, yep, I can set that up."

I set it up myself, but I wonder if the sound pressure is okay even if it's silent… Maybe the divine power adjusts it just right? With that, the sound should be irrelevant and the effective range should be large enough to cover the country.

"Well, the main point is not the sound, but the [Dispelling] part."

"Hmm."

"If Leona legitimately built a date spot country from scratch, then ringing this alarm wouldn't cause any problems. But if they're using magic or potions to brainwash people, then they'll instantly return to normal, yeah?"

"Interesting. But wouldn't that cause massive chaos?"

Indeed. There's no doubt that Leona and her group had to have a hand in the rapid development of the country. Toy had confessed as much. It was practically certain that such methods have been used in this overly rapid transformation.

"Well, let's give it a try."

Before explaining any further, I quickly set off the alarm. Although there's no sound, my sleepiness vanished instantly when I rang it, so I was sure that it was effective. I don't know how far the sound reached, but that didn't matter.

"Alright, let's get out of here, Rokuko. Put on the [Divine Blanket]."

"Okay."

I wrapped the [Divine Alarm Clock] around my left wrist like a wristwatch, kept the alarm ringing, and took Rokuko's hand as we headed for the summoning room.

Soldiers and maids were vomiting like fountains out in the hallway. A faint sour smell wafted through the air…

"What's happening?"

"I don't know, but it's sure convenient for us. Let's hurry up."

Surprisingly thick-skinned, Rokuko and I rushed to the summoning room, thinking it didn't matter as long as the abnormal conditions were forcibly lifted and no interference occurred.

Ignoring the people vomiting, we arrived in front of that stone summoning room.

"Kehma, the door is locked."

"Don't worry about that. We're going to break it anyway—[Elemental Burst]."

Just like the sort of [Master Key] shotgun you'd see in foreign movies, I shot through the door along with its lock. There shouldn't have been anyone inside given that the door was locked, so there was no need to hold back.

The room was dark without windows, but I checked the magic formation drawn on the floor.

[Bring], [Kehma Masuda], and [Involve]… There were some ridiculous strings mixed in, but it was a meticulously drawn magic circle covering the entire floor.

"[Purify]."

I cast [Purify] on the magic formation.

The magic formation on the floor vanished with a whoosh. If it had been carved, I would've needed to destroy it with [Create Golem] or [Stone Pile], but since it was just drawn with paint there wasn't a problem.

There was no need to give any more information to Leona, who was likely watching from somewhere.

"Kehma, there's another one on the ceiling."

"Huh? … Oh, you're right."

Rokuko pointed to another magic circle on the ceiling. [Amplify], [Magic Power Collection], [Direction Fixation]—this was probably the main one. Let's make sure to erase it as well.

I carefully cast [Purify] to erase it… Alright.

"I thought you'd destroy the room more spectacularly."

"Let's do that next time it happens. For now, let's just leave it at this."

Since Rokuko is here, I want to prioritize escaping. Let's hurry up and get out of here.

"Alright, now we'll escape with [Teleport]—"

"Eek!"

I pulled Rokuko close, hiding us under the "Divine Blanket" she was wearing.

A large fireball that could swallow a person whole came flying towards us, but it vanished as it touched the blanket.

"Hey, Toy Tindalos. Guess you're doing alright, huh?"

"You really did it, Masuda Kehma!"

A young girl with a striking resemblance to Niku—Toy—appeared, a clear expression of anger on her face.

"Cut out that annoying noise!"

Her face looked like she was enduring a terrible headache. Perhaps the sound can't be heard by human ears, but can be heard by dog ears? Dogs have a wider audible range than humans.

"Can you hear my voice?"

"Yes, yes, it's not my ears, but the sound resonates with my soul! What is that?!"

It seemed that the audible range was unrelated. I held Rokuko's hand.

"Well, we'll take our leave now."

"Wait, please! Ugh…"

Ignoring Toy, who collapsed to her knees, I cast [Teleport] to escape from the castle.

I really wanted to check out the town as well, but Rokuko was with me now. I had to get as far away from the castle as possible and teleport to a distant place in the direction of the empire.

With that, we teleported to the grasslands outside the city walls in one go… Ugh, I felt the magic power consumption. I should drink a mana potion.

"Here you go, a mana potion."

"Oh, thanks—wait a sec… huh?"

I reached for the mana potion that was handed to me, but then I hesitated.

"Oh. Don't you want it? I went to the trouble of making it from the grass over there."

"… Leona."

"Yep! It's been a while since we've met face-to-face like this, hasn't it Keima-san!"

Her black hair tied in a ponytail, there stood Leona winking playfully with her red eyes.
