Talking With Haku-san

"… Kehma-san, why are you here? And Rokuko-chan too?"

As Leona said, Haku-san quickly flew over to us. She didn't use teleportation but rather flight, so I guess there's magic for that too.

"Sister, we've been through a lot."

"Wait a moment. Are both of you the real ones? May I check?"

"We would also like to confirm if you're the real Haku-san. Do you have a good method for that?"

I felt like she came too soon after Leona mentioned she would. We should be skeptical on our end too.

"The tricky part is when a fake believes they're the real one… But unless it's a very elaborate fake, the alarm clock sound should have dispelled it, and if it's that elaborate of a fake, it wouldn't be easy to see through… Maybe try a [Super Transformation]… How about transforming into this letter?"

"Alright, [Super Transformation]."

Haku-san took out a letter without showing its contents and I performed a [Super Transformation] on it.

Apparently when you transform into a letter, even its contents were copied. When you transform into an envelope, however, there would be no content inside.

In that way, I managed to prove be who I said I was. [Super Transformation] was a hero skill that can't be easily copied, after all.

"Okay, at least Kehma-san seems to be the real one. How will I prove myself?"

"Ah… Rokuko-chan, what do you think?"

"Well, maybe we can try confirming a shared secret…?"

"Shall we try confirming a secret between Rokuko-chan and me? It's a good opportunity to confirm Rokuko-chan's identity as well."

With that, Rokuko and Haku-san moved a bit away from me and start whispering. It could have been dangerous if they were fakes, but they quickly confirmed each other's identity and came back.

Now that we'd all confirmed each other's identity, we could continue the conversation.

"We were abducted by Leona. I dunno, she used a summoning magic formation on us."

It seemed to be true that the surveillance curse Haku-san placed on Leona was removed by the [Divine Alarm Clock] as Leona said.

After giving a brief explanation of our situation, Haku-san sighed.

"I received a report from Dolche that [Kehma-san seems to be sleeping well today, and Rokuko-chan too]. So that's what happened."

"Should we hand over the dummy Rokuko, maybe?"

Traps… that was a definite possibility.

If Leona wanted to kill a specific Dungeon Core, she could [Summon] it out of nowhere no matter how deep it was hidden within in a dungeon. The range of that power could reach at least from the southern to the northern regions of the Empire.

"Kehma-san, do you know your GP?"

"If you have about 10 GP, Otou-sama should be able to take measures to prevent unexpected summons."

"I'll request it right away."

I opened the menu. Oh, the mail function was back. And… 56 GP, it had increased quite a bit.

I offered 10 GP to [Father] with my request… Please help me, Father. I guess that should be good enough?

"Aren't there other people in the Empire capable of that besides me?"

"Yes. It's not that there aren't any, but we're using them all to deal with Leona, whom we've now lost track of, so there's no one available."

Rokuko easily gave up and went over to Haku-san.

"Well then, I appreciate your help. Please contact me through the email function. If it's not possible within Diedo, please transfer back here. I'll provide you with mana potions."

"Ah, thank you."

I received a mana potion from her… It won't change my gender if I drink it, right?

"Now, Kehma-san, I have one more thing to discuss with you… Are you willing to help me harass Leona?"

With that, Haku-san smiled.
