Departure. I Gotta Redecorate the Dungeon.

Well, now that the preparations for the monsters for us to possess was complete, let's talk to Toy and set off on our journey right away… Well, we'll be experimenting along the way, too.

There was one troubling issue we found out about [Possession] at this point.

Narikin and Rokufa's consciousnesses were absent while they were possessed and they would have no memory of the time between the beginning of the [Possession] and when it was released.

The inability to share memories during possession might cause some difficulties in our activities, but we'll have Toy (a modified assassin who can perform [Possession] and has the appearance of a female adventurer in the scout profession) cover for us.

With Toy's skill-based [Possession], the possessed body becomes completely immobile once the [Possession] is released. In comparison, Narikin and Rokufa were better off.

"Kehma-sama, please feel free to use my body while I'm possessed, if you'd like? Hehe."

Toy's body would fall asleep with her version of [Possession] in the same way as with the dungeon function's [Possession].

What about Toy's body during that time? We'd place it in a room in the basement cell of the inn. A body without consciousness should be kept in a sturdy, locked room where nobody would go to, right?

It would be a lie to say I didn't have any ulterior motives. Well, rest assured, we won't let anyone make contact… At least, we'll provide a spare key so the door can be unlocked from the inside.

"So, please head to Pavuera for today. Travel during the day when we're not possessing you and we'll test if we can possess you at night. If we can't possess you, come back."

"Understood. I'll be on my way."

"Master, Rokuko-sama, we'll be waiting for you at eight o'clock tonight."

I handed Narikin a Pocket Watch Golem. We planned to synchronize the time and possess them… he looked a bit larger since he was wearing a robe over his armor.

Bowing respectfully, Narikin and Rokufa—who appeared to be ordinary adventurers—left with Toy (a modified assassin who was being possessed).

"I'd like to do some maintenance on the dungeon first."

"Oh, that's nice, but… it's stable for now, so there's no need to go out of our way to do maintenance, right?"

Recently, information about the Succubus Village had been circulating and there are people who were preparing [equipment that could barely be taken off without going to extreme measures] and attack the dungeon after hearing about it.

They might have been subjugated if they were killing people, but since they weren't, they were recognized as one of the gimmicks suitable for [Cave of Desires].

… I'd keep it a secret that I received a report from Rei that it had quietly become a good income and a breather (in more than one meaning) for the Succubi, thanks to the enthusiastic repeaters.

"So, to efficiently reach the Succubus Village, it seems that some dungeon capture information has been leaked. Since there's a Warehouse Area in the middle, the amount of Magic Sword Blade Golems leaking out has increased, which is why I was thinking about remodeling it a bit too."

"Hmm… The Rest Area after escaping the labyrinth already seems suitable for [Sloth]."

Oh yeah, there was that, too. So there were four left.

"Why don't we just call the Arena Area [Pride] or [Wrath]? Oh, the Boss Room would work nicely too."

"Mmm, I kinda wish you'd just said it was a hassle… I would have been a bit offended and rejected you outright if you started cutting corners on me, you know? Besides, if you continued that logic, you might even be able to forcibly call the Puzzle Area [Envy] or something. Let's just create four new ones."

Mumumumu. Well, nothing I can do if that's what Rokuko says.

… Ah, it might be a good idea to have a lock that can't be opened unless all the gimmicks are cleared. That way we'd be able to place a Dummy Core that looks like the true Dungeon Core behind it.

"Still, it's nice to have it based on the seven deadly sins, but what do you plan to do for [Gluttony]? Maybe we could have orcs and minotaurs roam around?"

"That's a good idea, but maybe we should ask Ichika for her opinion."

Since she was once called the Gluttonous Demon, she might have a good suggestion.

"Why don't you ask Rei and the others for their opinions as well? It's just the right number if you ask the three of them about [Pride], [Wrath], and [Envy]."

"I'll also ask Niku for her opinion. It wouldn't be good to exclude her."

"Huh, but then the numbers don't match."

"… Do we really need to match the numbers? Everyone can think of three gimmicks together, that's fine, right?"
