After reporting to Haku-san, we returned to the Dungeon.

Since there wasn't any new work to be done, it felt like we could finally relax after a long time.

"… … But, Kehma, you used to relax even when you had work, didn't you?"

"It's a matter of feeling. When there's something to be done, it doesn't really feel like I'm resting."

"When will the [Divine Nightcap] that we entrusted to Anee-sama arrive?"

"Anytime now. Once it arrives, perhaps we should ask Father how to use it?"

"… Kehma, it's a bit late to mention, but being able to contact Father when it's not even a gathering is quite a big deal, isn't it?"

"Well, he is the Dark God."

I mean, there's an inquiry form to Father in the GP menu section, even Haku-san could contact him freely. Until the email function was implemented, that was pretty much the only way. But Haku-san should have been able to do it; after all, she was the White Goddess and everything.

I'd been communicating via the email function though.

… Considering that, I wonder if the Pope can also make inquiries to the Light God?

Taking that into account, the [Existence Erasure] thing was probably the power of the Light God.

However, if a Dungeon Core could make inquiries to the Dark God, it shouldn't be strange if a hero like me could contact the Light God. I didn't know if it was because my level as a hero was too low to make inquiries or if a special ritual was required though.

As I said that, Rokuko looked surprised.

"What are you talking about? Emailing the Light God?"

"If I can send emails to Father, the Dark God, then it should be possible to email the Light God, right?"

"Well, but they're different factions… Ah, but you're originally a hero, and now you're with the Dungeon, so maybe it's not strange if you could?"

"I can probably do it. Trying's free anyway."

I opened the menu and launched the email function.

Addressing it to [Light God], the content was as follows:

"Finding out about the Pope's identity and whereabouts directly from him would be quick… but I wonder if it will even be delivered."

I opened the email from the Light God. Rokuko leaned in to take a look so we read it together.

Now I know the Pope's true identity. And to some extent his whereabouts.

"Yeah, there are a few interesting things in the email… Maybe I should email Haku-san about it."

Things like hearing directly from the Dark God and the different flow of time in the divine realm were both of considerable interest.

Is the Light God on friendly terms with Father, having casual conversations even though they're supposedly adversaries in their respective factions?

The lucky item is the [Divine Comforter], huh… does that mean I should use it?

… Why though? I guess I'll understand if I actually try using it.

"Rokuko, could you lend me the [Divine Comforter] for a minute?"

"Sure… But is it really okay to act according to what the Light God said about the lucky item?"

"… Well, if we don't, things might get even more complicated."

"Eh, what do you mean?"

"It seems he wants to meet… even though I wasn't exactly asking for that."

I reviewed the contents of the email. From the email, it didn't seem like he was angry or anything.

Choosing not to meet or postponing the meeting might inversely provoke his anger. That option seemed like a no-go.

Still, there's also the chance that if we actually meet, my existence might be erased…
