Arc of Turmoil
This Communication Is Being Monitored...
"Phew. I've had my fill…"
"That was supposed to be a test of [Super Transformation], though…"
One way or another, I'd wound up getting doted on like crazy as a girl-version me and whatnot, but the test was over.
Incidentally, when I shrank myself down or sized myself up, I'd been able to transform in a 'clothes included' state… Though where the clothing hid me it was completely fused on and wouldn't come off.
"Basically, in practice it was a transformation that came with the clothing design built in."
"Basically, in practice you were stark naked."
Stark naked… well, yeah, that's true, but… it is, but still.
So doesn't that mean I was getting clung to while naked?! That's exactly why you shouldn't go saying stuff like that!
"Next, why don't you transform into bunny-boy Kehma?"
"I'm not gonna."
"Do it?"
"I said I'm not."
"Do it?"
"… I'm seriously not gonna, okay?!"
"Do it?"
"It's an infinite loop where 'no' isn't a selectable option?! I said I won't!"
That really was a bit much, so I flatly refused.
Make it an actual test, or at least a useful transformation, would you… eh, you're asking whether loli-me qualifies as one of those? Well, I suppose it works as a disguise for when I need to run, so… just barely…?
"Man, but this is fun."
"This is supposed to be a perfectly serious ability test, you know?"
"There's no rule that says you can't enjoy yourself even while being serious, right? So if you're having fun on top of doing it seriously, that's the best of both, isn't it?"
"Nicely put, if only I weren't the one turning into a toy."
"Hehe, I'll let you [Super Transformation] into whichever me you like later, so forgive me?"
Rokuko put on a mischievous, impish little smile and gave a soft giggle.
This dungeon core is unbearably cute, dammit…! You just wait…!

"Master. Here, this is intel on the Holy Kingdom's spies within the Empire. Please make use of it."
Spy intel came in from Narikin, who'd become the Pope.
When the head of the organization is himself a spy, honestly, anything goes. It's an all-you-can-take of information, or something to that effect.
Since he can also keep records with photos, or rather with a monitor, he can lift intel from just a glance… This spy is way too broken.
On top of that, thanks to Soto connecting the space together, we can even ignore the way costs rise with distance.
My daughter is way too broken. She's the nemesis of my nemesis, after all…
"Since I'll have to send more once I've disposed of them all, I'd be grateful if you'd let them swim free in moderation. Please give my regards to Raverio's Founder."
"… … … … … ah, he means Haku-san."
For a second I couldn't tell who he was talking about.
The one who built up the Raverio Empire is Haku-san. What a roundabout way to put it.
"I see, so from the Holy Kingdom's side, that's the name she gets."
"Ah, no. Normally they use a much nastier name, and drop the honorific too. Usually she's called things like the 'White Devil.'"
"… Then what's this 'Raverio's Founder' about?"
"Apparently that's the name they use when she barges into ceremonies where guests of honor from various nations have been invited, and they've no diplomatic choice but to grudgingly address her, pasting on a forced smile while choking back a click of the tongue."
The sheer reluctance came through loud and clear. As expected of the dungeon-slaughtering nation.
Officially, Haku-san is supposed to be a retired figure, so she's neither Emperor nor Empress… They don't want to call her anything like the 'first Empress,' either? Ahh, that sort of thing.
"Well, I'll gradually plant the mindset of putting dungeons to use rather than destroying them."
"Sounds like the results won't show for a few decades."
"Well, that's because it's a national policy that took centuries to cultivate in the first place."
So it can't be helped if it takes time measured in decades, is what he's saying.
… Before that happens, though, Narikin's term will be up.
"On that front, I figured I'd take a page from the previous Pope."
"Ah, right? If I remember, he impersonated a different person and served as the next Pope too."
"Yes, I realized this after becoming Pope, but this country's Church of the Light God lets you fabricate as many identities as you please. It's wide open, you know? That's part of how I was able to slip in, too."
I see, if there hadn't been that kind of culture to begin with, a Narikin who'd suddenly become a priest could never have suddenly become the Pope.
Let's have Narikin go ahead and set up the identity of the new Narikin who'll be the next Pope now, while there's time.
"For the priest who'll become the next Pope, how about the name Tokin?"
"Then I'll register him under that. Mm, making him my nephew or thereabouts should do… or honestly, just having you supply him outright is an option too, Master?"
"True. No harm in keeping a stand-in on hand…"
I can prepare as much personnel as I want. As long as I've got DP, staffing shortages are none of my concern. One of the many perks of being a Dungeon Master.
"Then, while we're at it, let me have about five. Personnel got thinned out too badly by the terror attacks before the papal election, so there's a mountain of work. With the Pope's authority, I can whip up as many priest identities as needed."
"Five, huh. Sure, for the names, let's go with Tokin, Ayumi, Fuu, Toho, and Hohei."
I'll prepare suitable monsters to match… it's the Church of the Light God, so maybe they can all be angels.
Oh, there's conveniently a "5-Angel Set." DP-wise I've got plenty of room thanks to the Karisoto District, so it's a buy… hm.
"…'One Time Only! Church of the Light God Papal Inauguration Special Sale'? Oi, this… Papa-ue-sama, are you watching?"
"Master? Is something the matter?"
"Ah, no, this call is probably being monitored… by the Dark God."
"What!? Hmm, I suppose becoming the head of the Church of the Light God really does draw even the gods' notice."
Right, he's the Pope. If it's a matter of drawing the gods' notice, that's without a doubt the position for it. And the one doing the watching being the Dark God is, well… wait, hold on. Could it be that it's actually me who's being watched…?
… …
Bit late for that? Yeah, it's a bit late. I'd at least like to believe he isn't peeping when we're not communicating.
"Well then, since the chance is here, let's send them with this. Apparently they all come with [Humanization] learned by default, too."
"Ohh, how handy. Thanks be to the Dark God~!"
Is that really okay for the Pope of the Church of the Light God to say? … Not that I could quite help thinking so, but that too was a bit late, so I sent the five angels I'd summoned with DP over to Narikin's place.
Their appearances looked like perfectly ordinary Holy Kingdom commoners.
