Collab Stream, Slot Standby

That day, a massive tremor ran through the Karonites.

A new scheduled stream slot had gone up on Karona's channel. The contents…

[Oreshi0436]: "ojou's doing… a COLLAB?!"

[Joabou]: "no way. you gonna be okay ojou?? can you even talk??"

[@tam323]: "it's yamato from dungeon braver. well, compatibility with karona-jou seems decent?"

[Kusashige Renga]: "[100 JPY] tossing a superchat to commemorate the first-ever collab"

That's right. It was her very first collab stream!

Among corporate-affiliated streamers, intra-agency collabs were a common sight, but solo collabs required personal connections. They couldn't happen without a real friendship first.

Money also tended to get involved, which made things prone to blowing up. The system handled most of the distribution automatically according to prearranged terms, so as long as you could hash out the split beforehand you were fine. But it was that negotiation phase itself where the vast majority of collabs fell apart.

[@FE_Sofiya]: "dungeon braver's got more subs huh"

[Akineko]: "i came in through a Mikado-sama Mirror Stream, did ojou actually know yamato?"

[@tam323]: "she saved them once before, or well, it was more of a passing-by kinda thing"

[Joabou]: "she walked into the boss room right before yamato's team got wiped and took over to beat the boss"

And so comments in the reservation slot's chat traded explanations about the collab partner, getting everyone up to speed.

As for today's collab, the thumbnail had presumably been put together by Kokuyou the AI maid. It showed Karona laughing haughtily, with the three Dungeon Braver members squaring up against her like a challenge match.

A bold-text tagline had even been slapped across it: "I shall educate you～!" Educate them on what, exactly? Their place?

[Marimo-Youkan]: "the other side has more people AND more experience, is she gonna be okay??"

[Oukashuu]: "1 VS 3, huh… the other team's well-balanced so she'll probably lose but"

[Hao]: "if you count sebas and kokuyou it's 3v3 i guess"

[Ryutanji Karona]: "Everyone～! Today is my very first collab stream～! This will be from my POV～!"

And here, a streamer comment dropped in.

[Kusashige Renga]: "i think this might be the first time i've ever seen ojou post a streamer comment"

[@FE_Sofiya]: "she's always talking on stream so she never comments, yeah"

[Kokuyou]: "Our Ojou-sama, adorable even in chat form…!"

[Marimo-Youkan]: "oh it's kokuyou-san. so what ARE you teaching them?"

[Kokuyou]: "As you can plainly see, our Ojou-sama's loveliness, of course."

[Oukashuu]: "business as usual, glad to hear it"

With the AI maid casually dropping into chat as well, the collab stream's start time drew closer.

[Kokuyou]: "I'll swap out the thumbnail now, I think."

[Joabou]: "she prepped a replacement thumbnail in advance… truly an AI maid"

[Kokuyou]: "It's only text. Done, swapped."

[@tam323]: "hoh. ah, i see, slime golf huh"

[Hao]: "ojou's the foremost authority on slime golf after all"

At least it didn't look like it was going to devolve into anything too violent. A minor relief.

And with that, the collab stream was about to begin.
