The Ojou-sama Catches the Public Eye...!?
Hoshizora Production (4)
Now that she understood the situation, the talk turned to the terms.
"Basically, as a corporate affiliate, we'd like you to clear dungeons designated by the manager twice a week and stream on your personal channel at least once a week, for a total of at least three streams per week. In return, we'll pay you three thousand yen per stream. And the revenue from your personal channel streams is entirely yours to keep."
In other words, dungeon clears as a corporate affiliate would be added on top of her existing streams. If that were all, you could almost say nothing would change. And yet she'd be getting three thousand yen on top. Though apparently, even if she rushed and squeezed two streams into a single day, it'd still be just three thousand yen.
"When streaming on the company channel, in principle the total reward is split among the participants, plus one. That extra '+1' portion goes into Hoshizora Production's operating funds, so, um, we're sorry about that."
"Oh, no, you're a company, so that much is…"
In other words, if she streamed solo on the company channel, she'd be handing over half. But if she didn't like that, she could just stream on her personal channel instead. In fact, this seemed to be mainly a matter for box-collab occasions.
… Actually, this is a pretty good deal, isn't it? She glanced at Kokuyou. No particular reaction. Doesn't seem to be a bad deal.
At that moment, Sebas stepped in.
"Awfully convenient terms on our end. What are the downsides?"
"Um, that's how highly we value Karona-san. As for downsides, if you push yourself too hard and lose all your HP, the compensation is limited, I suppose? So please don't overdo it."
Hmm? If they cover compensation at all, isn't that actually a plus??
Solo streamers get no compensation like that to begin with.
"Also, while you're with our box, you can't be affiliated with any other boxes, I suppose? I'm sure it'll be no issue for you, Karona-san, but we'd like you to refrain from anything inappropriate from a compliance standpoint…"
"Hmm. Naturally, Ojou-sama."
"I see? Understood…"
Honestly, Karona felt like it was a sweet deal. A little too sweet.
The reality was probably that, since the CEO and manager had skipped town, the amateur Hoshizora Akari was breaking her back as rep just to keep things running.
But as the saying goes, a deal too good to be true usually has a catch.
Having heard out the clearly well-meaning Hoshizora Akari, Karona decided to take some time to think it over.
"Um, would it be all right if I took this home and thought it over for a bit?"
"Of course! We'll be looking forward to a positive reply!"
Hoshizora Akari and the other two rose from their chairs and bowed to Karona.
Right now, thought Karona, it's almost as if I'm the one conducting the interview.
