Now then. It was at last Karona's turn.

Karona had chosen the eighteenth hole, a tee ground that was a high-risk spot where goblins could climb right up to her.

Karona stood there with her mithril parasol Mary-chan at the ready.

"Measurement starts once you take your first shot."

"Here I go, then～!"

Once she confirmed a slime had crept up to her feet, she drew Mary-chan back — and swung her through. The instant after, a goblin's head flew off.

"Nice shot. Now, since you've initiated the attack, the goblins will come at you one after another. Show me, Karona-kun. Your golf!"

"Hey! Isn't a noisy gallery a manners violation!?"

"Oops, my apologies, Akari-kun."

[Akaringoo]: "for once, a sound argument lol"

Karona swung this way and that, shifting direction in full rotations, launching slimes in a sideways figure-eight pattern and piercing goblins one after another.

The goblins, however, kept closing in mercilessly. She was winning on takedown pace, but at this rate they would climb up to the tee ground and attack her directly.

"I-it's dangerous! Karona-chan!"

"They're coming from the front, so naturally I can see them. It's all within my calculations. Sooi!!"

Karona put extra force into a swing. The powerful shot pierced straight through one goblin's head, and then shattered the head of the goblin standing behind it as well.

"An elegant two-in-one, if you please～!"

"Ni-mai-nuki! What an incredible thing, this is no longer golf, it's become a completely different sport, Karona-kun!!"

"To begin with, this isn't golf, it's 'Slime Golf', Kurona-sama!"

"… Indeed, so it is! In this arena, then, you are the one in the right!"

Her next shot shattered one goblin's temple and ricocheted off to take down another.

And so, Karona kept striking down goblins until time ran out —

— and every last one of the hundred goblins that had spawned in that area, Karona cut down to the last.
