Let's go, Terarialbee

With the Five Elders' cooperation, our travel from Akahagane to the Tessin-Terarialbee border would go smoothly.

Falsifying travel records up to that point would be child's play for them… actually no, these are official records. Not falsified at all.

"Oh, here's Healer's identification papers. Since people tend to accept 'dwarf' as an explanation when someone makes strange Magic Tools, I went ahead and made him one of my sons."

Healer just became the son of Queen Mie-chan!

He doesn't have succession rights or anything, but he's Prince Healer now! Also, unknown fathers are just par for the course with dwarves so that's not an issue, and even if he's not dwarf-sized, they can just chalk it up to his father's blood.

Man, I always thought authority was a pain to deal with, but when it's on your side, it's this reliable?

And that wasn't all.

The magitech car that Dea-kun and I co-developed. Mie-chan and the other Five Elders got their hands on it.

"This is amazing, Kari-chan! If we can fix the fuel efficiency, we won't need horses anymore!"

"Driving the cart directly… At this point it's definitely way more efficient than Horse Golems."

"Should we make the frame from bone and use leather for the exterior to reduce weight? It would also help cushion impacts."

"For protecting passengers, couldn't we transfer them to a substitute doll on collision?"

"I'm not a Magic Tool specialist, but leave the circuit ink formulation to me… Huh? Kari-chan, what's with this perfect ink… Now I'm losing confidence…"

And so, a magitech car that actually, legitimately worked was completed.

The fuel efficiency is still bad though.

"Isn't this amazing, Dea-kun? Our magitech car got a complete makeover."

"The ride quality is completely different. Well, it's even quieter when you operate it, Onee-san."

That's because I float it 3mm off the ground when I'm driving.

And that still wasn't all.

"Anego! Check this out!"

"Oh? What's that, some stylish boots and armor?"

"The Five Elders made them for me!"

Arthur got new equipment. Products of the Five Elders' workshop: dragon boots and armor. (Price: 5 dragon scales)

When they made stuff for Dea-kun, they went overboard and made things you couldn't casually use in public, but having learned from that, these apparently only have the function of changing size to match Arthur's transformations.

At least now there's no worry of him being mistaken for a wild dragon.

"… I suppose ignoring the laws of physics is par for the course with the Five Elders' workshop?"

"By the way, this armor transforms into a saddle! You can become a dragon rider, Anego!"

"Oooh."

Dragon rider does sound pretty appealing.

I mean, I can ride him bareback, but having a saddle looks more impressive.

"By the way, you'll let others ride you too, right? Not just me, but like Aishia?"

"Dea-kun is one thing, but Aishia-san's abilities are… ah, yes, of course I'll let her ride…"

"Nice, Aishia! You can become a dragon rider too!"

… Huh? Aishia says she's the one who's supposed to sing about such things, not be sung about, so she finds it awkward? I see.

Well anyway, with Arthur included, our transportation options have really expanded.

With identity papers and transportation sorted, nothing can stop our journey now!
