Let's go sabotage!

I decided to carry out sabotage on the mysterious facility in the Holy Kingdom at Haku-san's request.

Now, how should I destroy it? There are countless methods.

Especially if I used [Possession] on Narikin, I could do various things.

Narikin was created to be my external body, so his specs were almost equivalent to me going there myself. There was a difference in the amount of magic power we had, but that much could be made up for by just chugging mana potions.

Since I'd taught him the magic necessary for [Elemental Burst], I could use it by using [Possession].

And since I have also taught him [Create Golem], locks and such would be rendered meaningless with a snap of a finger.

But what's important was whether it was the right time to reveal that particular trump card.

Sure, I could carry out sabotage with Narikin, but the chances of him no longer being able to stay in the Holy Kingdom greatly increased.

I didn't want to use Narikin as a disposable tool, so that was quite a troublesome matter. For now, I'd definitely need to wear a mask to hide my face.

"Kehma, I have a good idea."

"Hm? What is it, Rokuko?"

"Just change Narikin's face after the crime!"

Narikin, who had undergone [Humanization] with the dungeon's enhancement function, had the face of an average adult male from the Empire. She was proposing to change his face to another one by adjusting his [Humanization].

In other words, it'd be like a wanted criminal getting plastic surgery to change his face and escape. I mean, given that that's exactly what we were trying to do, it'd probably work.

"Can you do that?"

"I can. There's no gap in my plan to change Narikin's face to yours when the time comes. It can be done with just 500 DP."

So she was waiting for an opportunity to do it… Well, at least it means she looked into various things.

Dungeons had features that were only unlocked based on the user's recognition of them. It's probably a feature that becomes possible once you believe that it can be done.

"In other words, we could just change his face during the crime."

"… Well then let's change it to Kehma's face all the time."

"There's a possibility we could completely separate from the face he's been using to gather information up till now and start fresh in the next town. I'll consider it."

By changing his face before committing a crime and changing it again afterward, everything should be foolproof. It would cost a total of 1000 DP, which was a small expense for us now.

"If he were to die—well, he could be resurrected with DP, so that'd actually be a quicker solution than if he got caught. The DP required for resurrection seems to be quite substantial, though."

I was also a little curious about where he would be resurrected, but it didn't really matter. Even if he were to be resurrected in a morgue, I could probably retrieve his body using Soto's [Storage] dungeon.

"Well, if you get caught, I'll go save you with Rokufa."

"That's true. We might even able to use the angle of having an angel backing us that told us to attack that facility and justify it religiously."

"I'll go in there saying, 'What are you doing to my husband!'"

… Well, Narikin and Rokufa were set up as a married couple, after all.

"I kind of want to see how they'd react if a terrorist claimed to be an angel's husband."

"Hehe, indeed. I wonder what the faces of those Light God believers would look like? Maybe you could get caught on purpose."

"I definitely won't be purposely getting caught."

Speaking of which, heroes would often go with a small group to kill the enemy leader in older games, making them terrorists or assassins from the enemy's perspective.

"Well, I'll change my face and go on a rampage."

"Alright, have a good trip."

And so [Operation: Possess Narikin and Run Amok] was set into motion.

I arrived at the small building with the hidden passage in Kuromaku. It was midnight. There weren't any people around, but just to be sure, I sent a mouse through the ventilation ducts to make sure no one was there before reaching out to the door.

It was locked, but I silently cast [Create Golem] to infuse a key with magical power and turn it into a Golem. I then had it open the door for me. It was an amazing skill that could unlock physical locks in one go.

Once inside, there was an entrance to a descending staircase that looked like an underfloor storage space, but today there was a wooden lid covering it. It was even carefully locked with chains and a padlock. Had someone been using it and left it open the other day?

However, while it might be just a normal lid for a mouse, for me, it was nothing. I just needed to turn the chains into a Golem with [Create Golem] and break it off.

Hmm, now that I think about it, I could even use that tactic to break through Orichalcum chains. If I weren't a Dungeon Master, I might have become a world-class phantom thief.

[What if you taught the mice [Create Golem]? They might be able to do something incredible.]

"Ah, Rokuko, is that you?"

[Yes. I thought I'd record a video to give to Haku-neesama, so I'm using [Possession] on Rokufa and watching. I'll edit it though of course.]

"… Make sure I get to check out the footage first. You haven't shown it to Toy yet, right?"

[Of course not. In fact, I'm using [Possession] on Rokufa because, if it were just Rokufa doing it, she'd probably show Toy.]

That's good. [Create Golem] was my trump card, so I'd have to make sure it was properly edited and cut out.

[I'm looking forward to seeing how you'll rampage!]

"I don't know if 'looking forward to it' is the right sentiment since it's not for entertainment… Well, whatever."

I gulped down a mana potion bottle and the liquid disappeared as if it dissolved into my body without reaching my stomach, restoring my mana.

Regarding what Rokuko mentioned about teaching the mice [Create Golem], considering what I could do with Narikin, it's likely that a mouse with even less magical power capacity would need a lot of training to use [Create Golem] properly.

Now, as for the plan, I'll postpone the destruction of the black sphere and first secure the divine artifact that served as the power source. After that, I'll destroy the giant magical tool before finally destroying the black sphere.

My reasoning was that if the black sphere was in fact a Dungeon Core, there was a possibility that the facility could collapse and completely bury itself as soon as it was destroyed. If the giant magical tool isn't thoroughly destroyed by then, it might become usable again just by digging it up.

… Speaking of which, although the passage seemed to be well-maintained and reinforced, a collapse might cause serious problems on the surface. While I'd like to avoid that as much as possible, it's an enemy country for dungeons, so there's the question of how much consideration is necessary from someone like me.

I guess I'll pray to the Light God to make sure that as few unrelated people as possible are affected.
