Kokuyou promptly appeared, ran her eyes over the mail, and adjusted her glasses with a click.

At the same time, she was searching the net for information on Hoshizora Production, checking reviews and word-of-mouth, and pulling up details on the B-Casters currently affiliated with them.

"This isn't a fake or anything, is it?"

"Since the inquiry came through BCD's Management, that's unlikely. That said… I hate to put it this way, but they're a small-fry box."

A "box" refers to agencies and the like, the term for a group. Famous big names would include HoloSanzi and Nijilive, and so on.

Belonging to one of the big boxes means fans of the agency itself will subscribe to your channel on the strength of that alone; having 100,000+ subscribers before your debut isn't rare at all. You can also collab with seniors within the group.

Karona's oshi, Amenato Mikado, is also affiliated with Nijilive.

(There's even a theory that Nijilive is, in fact, the agency Amenato Mikado herself founded.)

Hoshizora Production, the offer currently on the table, is small-fry, but they're still a corporate slot. When it comes to name recognition, individuals and corporates are worlds apart.

"What will you do, Ojou-sama?"

If she accepts, she becomes a corporate-affiliated B-Caster; if she turns it down, she remains solo as she is now.

Uses wind magic to whip up gales at enemies and to form wind blades and tornadoes. Favored weapon: a bow and arrows imbued with the power of wind.

"Hmmm. A pretty well-balanced party, isn't it… Or rather, if the box already has a party that raids dungeons together, does that mean I'd be joining them as an addition? Or else, are there other people being scouted too, and we'd be forming a new party as a 2nd-gen sort of thing?"

Hmm-hmm, Karona pondered.

"Maybe I'll try asking the Karonite-samas about it."
