[Joabou]: "nah, this has gotta be it. new outfit?"

[Kusashige Renga]: "is it a 'Try Singing' video announcement, maybe?"

At Karona's surprise stream, the regular Karonites piled in with comments.

The thumbnail for the stream, which she'd had Kokuyou prep, was the classic black-background-with-white-text "Major Announcement" kind.

"I've always wanted to try doing one of these major-announcement streams!"

[Kochoran]: "the major announcement is that you wanted to try doing a major announcement?"

[@tam323]: "so… in other words, there's actually nothing? is that it?"

"No, no, no! There is a major announcement!"

Karona hurriedly denied it.

[@FE_Sofiya]: "then how about a game that decides whether or not Ojou gets to make the major announcement…"

[Marimo-Youkan]: "kinda a tradition of not actually announcing anything in these, huh"

[Hao]: "true that"

[Oukashuu]: "maybe something like, announce it if she wins three viewer matches in a row on Retro Game Archive?"

[Akineko]: "ahh, classic. seen that more times than my parents' faces"

[Genryuusai]: "see your parents' faces more"

"Hey! You're leaving the one actually making the announcement in the dust, everyone～!?"

The conversation was threatening to derail, so Karona reluctantly… reluctantly? went along with picking a game. She could've just barreled ahead and announced it anyway, but even Karona knew this kind of "major announcement" has to be dragged out for at least thirty minutes.

And the game she chose was that staple of falling-block puzzlers, Punyo-Punyo. Specifically the series' acclaimed masterpiece, Punyo-Punyo Tsuu. You stick four squishy punyo orbs together to pop them, which lets you send nuisance-punyo to your opponent.

"Believe it or not, I'm actually quite good at Punyo-Punyo! I can pull off three-chains, I shall～!"

[@beruki]: "o-oh. that's amazing!"

[@smallwind]: "th-then how about the announcement happens if you win two matches against viewers?"

[Jack@]: "amazing! I can do three-chains too!"

"What's this? Everyone's suddenly being so kind…?"

Just then, Kokuyou quietly appeared behind Karona.

"Ojou-sama. How about this. If you don't manage to meet the condition even after thirty minutes, I'll play in Ojou-sama's stead?"

[@huhum]: "that. is. it!"

[Matsumoto Daichi]: "AIs are supposed to be good at these math-puzzle things… with this, we can rest easy…"

"What's with you people. Making fun of me like that! Fine then, I'm not announcing anything until I clear Story Mode!!!"

[@tam323]: "ohh nooo…"

[Kusashige Renga]: "she's gone and done it…"

[Joabou]: "please at least allow continues."

"… Damn it, I'll make the announcement before the evening timed sale! Just you watch, here I go～!!!"

And so the clear-or-bust endurance stream began. But she couldn't clear it, and Karona's major announcement had to be carried over.

A few extra view-reservations trickled in for the next stream, alongside comments like "so these major-announcement-challenge streams really do sometimes end without an announcement, huh."
