Major Announcement Stream (2)

The day after Karona failed to clear Punyo-Punyo's Story Mode and had to abruptly postpone her major announcement, a new slot went up on her channel titled "Can She Make the Major Announcement? Round 2."

[@tam323]: "wonder what the major announcement was even supposed to be…"

[Oreshi0436]: "to think she really wasn't gonna announce it…"

[Kusashige Renga]: "if it were truly a major announcement, wouldn't she have just announced it?"

[@FE_Sofiya]: "it's ojou, y'know?"

[Matsumoto Daichi]: "yeah, it's ojou."

[Kusashige Renga]: "right, it was ojou, wasn't it…"

And thus, the second slot began.

"Kon-Karona～! The aspiring-Ojou-sama B-Caster, Ryutanji Karona, at your service～! Oh-ho-ho-ho! Today, I shall clear Punyo-Punyo Tsuu for you all～!"

[Jack@]: "kon-Karona～. ojou, so what's the major announcement?"

[Genryuusai]: "kon-Karona. really a major announcement? you can go ahead and spill it, y'know?"

"Of course it's a major announcement, I tell you～!? To make the announcement today for sure, I've been doing special Punyo-Punyo training with Kokuyou ever since!"

[@tam323]: "wrong lol wrong lol"

[Marimo-Youkan]: "isn't your effort pointed in the wrong direction??? lol"

[Joabou]: "if you ended up just playing Punyo-Punyo, please stream that too lol"

Karona's aim was a little off, and the Karonites couldn't help but smile wryly.

After all, this was something she'd brought up herself, so she could just go ahead and announce it normally.

But it was just like Karona, in her stubborn and single-minded way, to insist, "What I said, I shall see through!"

"Doryaaa! Seiyaaa!! Three-chaaain!!"

[Marimo-Youkan]: "special move?"

[Hao]: "just got here. ojou on level 5 right now?"

[Genryuusai]: "gotta have high hopes for this special move. Saturn again, I'm guessing?"

At this point, Karona began stacking punyo on the right side of the field. She kept piling them up without checking what was inside. Occasionally four punyo connected and popped, but still she piled them ever higher. Three columns filled up with punyo.

[Genryuusai]: "th-this is… the Frog Stack!"

[Matsumoto Daichi]: "do you know it, Genryuusai-shi!?"

[Genryuusai]: "indeed. a beginner's Punyo technique of stacking blindly and praying for chains. with luck, you can even trigger a huge chain — with luck!"

[Kochoran]: "Ojou, reduced to clearing Punyo through pure RNG at this point"

[@smallwind]: "not a bad move. you can just keep continuing till you draw a good hand, so eventually you'll win"

"Oh-ho-ho-ho! If you win, that's all that matters, I shall～!!"

And so, making full use of continues, Karona somehow managed to clear Story Mode after all.

[Akineko]: "incidentally, if you clear without using continues, a secret boss shows up. wanna try? (sleazy grin)"

"Please spare me that, will you!? I'm making the major announcement～!!"

And thus, Karona at last earned the right to make her major announcement.

… Ah, but Retro Game Archive does allow Quick Save and Quick Load, so it's not like it's impossible, is it? she started to say, but given the hour, they decided that if she was going to try that, it'd be on another day.
